Wear the Rainbow

Hi Everybody, My name is Rachel. I am a high school sophomore and I want to ask you all for something very important to me.

Same sex marriage has been an on running conflict. I am currently doing a project at my school that allows me to focus on this controversy. I believe that love and marriage should not be denied just because of gender. I find it foolish and very much in lack of thought. Marriage is not a sin, marriage is a beautiful binding of two souls.

What I ask of you all who are reading this, is to draw more attention to the good aspects of same sex marriage. Tie or draw a rainbow ring around the ring finger of your left hand to show that you are with me. I am not just a teen trying to make a difference in my state, but a teen who is not "Bi" or a lesbian. I'm straight, I have no sexual interest in anyone of my own gender.

If I can get enough people to follow me, I can help show that this is a privilege that should be shared by everybody.

I will be posting different aspects of this argument and do my best with the help of my mother to show the truth and logic behind it.

Stay tunned folks, I'm gonna try and change the way people look at love.
